About Data and Statistical Services
Data and Statistical Services (DSS) is part the Research and Instructional Services in Firestone Library at Princeton University.
Statistical consulting services are available to currently enrolled/employed members of Princeton University. DSS consultants provide statistical
and software assistance in quantitative analysis of electronic data as part of independent research projects, such as junior papers, senior theses, term papers, dissertations, and scholarly
articles. We advise about the choice and application of quantitative methods, the conversion of data from one format to another, and the interpretation of statistical analyses. The
statistical packages supported are Stata, SPSS, and R.

We provide assistance by walk-in service when the DSS lab is staffed (see schedule
on the sidemenu), by appointment and/or via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Assistance can only be provided to
Princeton members who have a valid Princeton email address. We do not provide support via telephone
