The Nigeria IDP Survey was conducted in IDP camps and host communities in the Northeast regions of Nigeria. Used to compile a socio-economic profile of IDPs and host communities to help inform durable solutions to internal displacement. The survey contains information on poverty, education, service access, employment and livelihoods, as well as perceptions. Combines detailed household information with displacement-specific information including drivers of displacement, access to resettlement mechanisms, and return intentions. Also includes comprehensive information on assets and consumption, to allow estimation of poverty based on the Rapid Consumption methodology. The 2018 Profile of Internally Displaced Persons in North-East Nigeria survey covered the following topics: household roster; household characteristics; food consumption; non-food consumption; livestock; durable goods; wellbeing and opinions; displacement.
