In order to investigate the overall situation of Chinese citizenship, the China National Conditions Research Center of Peking University designed and organized the "Chinese Citizenship Survey" project. In order to meet the needs of covering the floating population, the survey adopts the “GIS/GPS-assisted regional sampling” method, which draws probability samples in a stratified, multi-stage, and probabilities proportional to size (PPS, probabilities proportional to size) method. Primary sampling The unit is an administrative unit at the district and county level. The end sampling unit is an inhabited residence. After entering the household, use the Kish form to select an adult. The sample covers 75 county-level units in 31 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions across the country (except Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan). A total of 4,004 valid samples were completed in field interviews, with an effective completion rate of 73%. The sample can represent the national population aged 18-70. The specific content of the survey relates to the public's attitude towards reform and opening up; the public's evaluation of government public services; the core values of citizenship; the public's perception of citizenship; the public's political trust, sense of efficacy and participation; the public's view of China's democratic construction Cognition and evaluation; the public’s confidence in China’s future political and economic development, etc.
