- Description
-
Has extensive clinical, physiological, and behavioural and lifestyle data, including biochemical and genetic data, available to researchers, as well as hundreds of phenotypes related to common diseases. Many data types have been collected at multiple longitudinal time points. Available sample types include: DNA, cell lines, serum, plasma, stool and urine.
To apply for access please visit the Access Our Data page and ensure you read our data access policy.
TwinsUK samples have been genotyped using the Infinium assay (Illumina, San Diego, USA). We also hold gene expression data (fat, LCL, skin). Genetic data available include GWAS Illumina, gene expression, sequence data and metabolic data. Collaborators with access to genotyping data can download data files via the FTP Server using their assigned user name and password. All other researchers must apply for access using our Data Access Proposal Form.
We encourage collaboration either on the analysis of these phenotypes or on novel phenotypes.
