Time Period: 2/26/2020 – 3/2/2020

Response Rate: A total of 3,246 respondents registered in our questionnaire. In the end, 9 were excluded because they were below 12 years (n=8) or did not live in China’s mainland (n=1)

Sampling: A cross-sectional online survey was conducted via Chinese social applications (APPs) WeChat and Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, in China’s mainland.

Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS): SSRS was used for the measurement of social support.

Biological Rhythm Interview of Assessment in Neuropsychiatry (BRIAN): BRIAN was applied to assess the degree of biological rhythm dysregulation.

Brief Symptom Inventory-18 (BSI-18): BSI-18 is a self-report symptoms checklist which is commonly used to evaluate psychological distress of respondents in the past one week.
