A partnership between Meta and independent academic researchers to understand the impact of Facebook and Instagram on key political attitudes and behaviors during the US 2020 election. Datasets measure participants' exposure, views, and engagement with posts that link to civic news domains. Researchers also partnered with NORC to survey participants about their political attitudes. Datasets are restricted and can be accessed via ICPSR's Virtual Data Enclave after approval of the required application by a PI with a terminal degree.
