The Comparative Values Survey of Islamic Countries is a subset of the World Values Survey that was conducted from 1999 to 2006 and examines the beliefs, attitudes and behaviors of individuals in 15 nations with Islamic majorities. Representative samples of each nation's population are surveyed on their opinions regarding religion, politics, gender roles, well-being and numerous other issues concerning social values and morality.
