AmericanViolence.org is designed to be a public resource that will provide comprehensive, updated data on violence from as many of the largest 100 largest U.S. cities as possible. The first version of the site includes statistics and trends in murder for over 80 of the largest 100 American cities with available data. This is just a start. In the second version of the site, we will provide data on violence at the neighborhood level for somewhere between 30 and 50 of these cities, and we will continue to expand as more cities make data available.
