The 2023 Refugee Influx Rapid Needs Assessment in Sudan’s White Nile State aimed to evaluate the immediate needs of populations affected by the ongoing crisis. The assessment focused on key indicators such as demographic information, family size, protection concerns, and access to basic services, including shelter, water, and sanitation. Conducted between May 14 and May 17, 2023, the survey targeted refugee households residing in White Nile State. Data was collected via face-to-face interviews using mobile devices. The findings provide critical insights into the urgent needs of these populations, supporting UNHCR's planning and response efforts in Sudan.
