This is the replication data for Schneider and Zuber (forthcoming 2025 in Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies). In this article, they analyze inequalities in the decentralized implementation of citizenship policy in Germany in the period 2000 to 2021. The data set includes variables to identify the county/ county-free city, variables on the county reform, socioeconomic variables, foreigner and naturalization variables, and political variables at the local and the state-level.
