The Wellbeing web survey continues the tracking of Gallup wellbeing measures that had previously been tracked via other surveys. Its current format began fielding in the second quarter of 2023, with quarterly data collection of sample sizes typically ranging from 5,000 to 6,000 people. Many of these measures were formerly tracked through the Gallup US Daily survey, which ran 2008-2017. However, the survey mode changed across these periods and after careful analysis, Gallup concluded that most metrics should not be used for trend analysis when comparing estimates captured from 2008-2017 with this newer version of the survey. This newer survey can be compared to select items about health and wellbeing that were included on Gallup's COVID-19 survey. See the codebook for more details.
